Credit & Collections Manager About the job The Credit & Collections manager position is accountable for the entire credit granting process, including the consistent application of a credit policy, periodic credit reviews of existing customers, the assessment of the creditworthiness of potential customers, and the collections process. Duties and responsibilities include: Planning, evaluating, implementing, and continuously improving all aspects of credit & collection functions and processes Assisting in formulation of specific collection objectives and reporting and measurement of these objectives Working closely with management to respond to credit and collection concerns with existing and potential clients Direct interaction with clients in resolving receivables delinquencies Develop and implement a credit policy company wide Responsible for minimizing the company’s financial losses Interface with applicants to communicate credit decisions, ensure timely review of new customers, and timely reconciliation of customer accounts Monitor and forecast accounts receivable in accordance with terms Review accounts receivable aging with management and other personnel, as required Take appropriate action on overdue accounts, including recommendation of legal action   Qualifications and Requirements: Bachelor's degree in business or other relevant field of study 5 years’ experience in the Commercial Credit & Collections field Multi-location and multi-state experience required Excellent communication skills Experience with large volume of transactions Knowledge of credit-related laws Ability to work in a fast-paced environment Excellent organizational skills Ability to multitask and prioritize Advanced Excel skills and experience navigating through ERP programs Experience navigating customer portals and/or customer vendor management portals, such as Ariba and Tungsten Network Experience with PDI/Enterprise software strongly preferred Fuel industry experience strongly preferred   Eligible for bonuses after one year of employment Benefits: •401(k) •401(k) matching •Dental insurance •Health insurance •Health savings account •Paid time off •Vision insurance
