History was made on Nov. 10, 2020, when Outgoing ELFA Board Chair Martha Ahlers passed the leadership torch to Incoming Chair Kris Snow at the ELFA Board of Directors meeting. Snow becomes the association’s third female Chair, following Ahlers and 2007 Chair Valerie Hayes Jester. In the video above from ELFA 2020 Business LIVE! on Oct. 27, 2020, Ahlers recognized this momentous occasion: “As the second female Board Chair of the ELFA, I am thrilled to be passing the gavel to you, another female leader,” said Ahlers. Snow agreed, saying: “This really is a historic moment. It’s a great time to recognize and celebrate women’s leadership in our industry.”
