How can you share your excitement about ELFA events and engage with other industry professionals? Tweet about the events before, during and after you attend! Your tweets will help to raise the visibility of the events and increase your engagement. Especially if you or someone at your organization is attending, speaking or exhibiting, we encourage you to get the word out!
Sample Tweets
- Tweet before a conference. Share your excitement about the event. For example, your pre-event tweet might read: "Looking forward to meeting new contacts and seeing old friends at ELFA's Equipment Management Conference #ElfaEMC
- Tweet during a conference. Tweet short messages throughout the event, commenting on what you're enjoying or sharing key takeaways from speakers. For example: "Checking out heavy equipment at an off-site tour at ELFA's Equipment Management Conference #ElfaEMC"
- Tweet after a conference. Bid farewell to your colleagues and share your conference takeaways. For example: "Heading home from #ElfaEMC. Great networking and best practices. Already looking forward to next year!"
- Tweet photos. Feel free to tweet photos from the event. For example, you might attach a photo of a vehicle from the on-site vehicle showcase with a message: "Kicking the tires at the on-site vehicle showcase #ElfaEMC"
What is a hashtag?
A hashtag is an identifier that categorizes tweets together. When you use a conference hashtag, it's easy for ELFA to track and retweet your messages.
