Salt Lake City, Utah, Position Overview: The Vice President of Documentation is responsible for managing the documentation process for their asset-based lending and equipment financing lease transactions. This role will require an individual who is highly organized, detail-oriented, and has a strong understanding of asset-based lending and equipment financing lease documentation.
Essential Duties:
Manage the documentation process for asset-based lending and equipment financing lease transactions.
Review and analyze documentation to ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
Coordinate with internal teams and external parties to ensure timely completion of documentation.
Develop and maintain documentation templates and procedures.
Develop and mentor team through training.
Act as a subject matter expert and provide guidance to team members on documentation requirements.
Identify areas for process improvement and implement changes as needed.
Ensure all documentation is accurate, complete, and properly executed.
Troubleshoot contract-related problems and disputes.
Keep track of contracts and extend, renew, or close-out.
Stay apprised of and apply changes to relevant legal, business, and technical rules and regulations.
Ensures appropriate contract terms and conditions are in place to protect and mitigate the financial, risk, technical and commercial interests of the client.
Ensures compliance with applicable laws, regulatory requirements, and internal controls.
Builds strong working relationships with business units, and counterparties to assure risk, quality, and service levels and goals are met.
Provides knowledge transfer, training, and expertise to various business units on contracting practices.
Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

Asset Based Lending - Equipment Financing Lease Documentation experience.
The ability to work independently.
Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, or a related field.
5+ years of experience in asset-based lending and equipment financing lease documentation.
Strong knowledge of documentation requirements and regulations for asset-based lending and equipment financing lease transactions.
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Outlook, Word, and Excel.
Experience with lease accounting software and documentation systems preferred.
Extensive experience with Salesforce implementing Data Automation.

Excellent relational skills.
Excellent oral and written communication skills. Strong working knowledge of the structure and content of the English language including the meaning and spelling of words, rules of composition, and grammar. To be evidenced by the following:

Compensation commensurate upon experience.
