Job Description: As a Titles and Insurance Specialist at Equipment Leasing Group of America, you will play a vital role in supporting the titles and documentation process within our organization. Your primary responsibility will be to assist the titles team in various administrative tasks to ensure accurate and timely processing of equipment titles, as week as backup on documentation including insurance. This position is critical to maintaining compliance and ensuring a smooth workflow for equipment leasing transactions.
Responsibilities:
Collaborate with the titles team to process and manage equipment titles and insurance efficiently.
Review and verify documentation related to equipment titles and insurance, including lease agreements, ownership transfers, lien releases, new insurance policies and renewals.
Coordinate with internal stakeholders and external parties, such as leasing companies, customers, and government agencies, to obtain necessary documents and resolve title-related issues.
Conduct research to ensure compliance with state-specific regulations and requirements for equipment titles.
Maintain accurate records of title and insurance-related documentation and update internal databases accordingly.
Assist in the preparation and submission of title applications and supporting documents.
Monitor and track the progress of title applications to ensure timely completion and resolve any delays or issues.
Assist in resolving inquiries and concerns related to equipment titles and insurance from internal and external stakeholders.
Stay updated on industry trends and regulations related to equipment titles and recommend process improvements as needed.
Collaborate with other teams within the organization to support overall operational efficiency and customer satisfaction.
High school diploma or equivalent (Associate's degree or relevant certification preferred).
Previous experience in a title processing role or similar administrative position is beneficial.
Familiarity with equipment leasing or financial services industry is a plus.
Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.
Proficient in using computer applications and software, including Microsoft Office Suite.
Good verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to work collaboratively within a team and independently with minimal supervision.
Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities.
Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
Knowledge of state-specific regulations related to equipment titles is a plus.
