Balboa Capital, a leading direct lender that specializes in equipment financing, small business loans and franchise financing, today announced the appointment of Michael Veneziano as Account Manager for the company’s Franchise Finance Division. In this role, Mr. Veneziano will help develop financing programs for franchisors that enable their franchisees to access growth capital for furniture, fixtures and equipment (FF&E), property improvement programs (PIPs), remodeling and reimaging efforts, brand mandates, and store acquisitions.  

Mr. Veneziano brings over 25 years of credit, sales and management experience to Balboa Capital. Prior to joining Balboa Capital, he served as Vice President of Finance at Doherty Enterprises, Inc. He has held stints at KeyBank FKA American Express Financing; Pitney Bowes Capital Services, Inc.; Siemens Financial Services, Inc.; and Finova Capital Corporation FKA Bell Atlantic Tricon Leasing, Inc. Mr. Veneziano completed his Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration and Economics at Rutgers University in Newark, New Jersey, and his MBA in Finance and Accounting from Fairleigh Dickinson University in Madison, New Jersey.
