MINNETONKA, MN, November 24, 2025 Monitor magazine has named Lesley Farmer of KLC Financial to its Top 50 Women in Equipment Finance, an annual recognition honoring women whose leadership, performance, and contributions are shaping the future of the industry.

A nationally recognized leader in business development and client relations, Farmer has built her career around helping companies grow through strategic financing solutions. She partners with companies across diverse industries, providing the capital that drives expansion, new ventures, and investment in critical resources.

“Lesley brings incredible dedication and depth of understanding to every relationship,” said Spencer Thomas, CEO of KLC Financial. “Her clients and partners trust her because she truly invests in their success. She’s a strong example of the kind of integrity, persistence, and collaboration that define KLC.”

Known for her ability to connect people and deliver results, Farmer has become a trusted advisor to franchise owners, vendors, and financial partners nationwide. Her work consistently reflects KLC’s mission to help businesses thrive through creative, responsive, and relationship-driven financing.

In addition to this recognition, Farmer was recently named to Finance & Commerce’s Top Women in Finance – Circle of Excellence, honoring professionals who have earned repeated recognition for excellence and impact in Minnesota’s financial community.

Farmer also serves on the boards of the Risk Management Association of Minnesota (RMA) and the Turnaround Management Association of Minnesota (TMA), where she contributes her expertise and mentors emerging professionals in the industry. Outside of work, she continues that leadership spirit as a volleyball coach at Edina High School, empowering young women to build confidence and teamwork on and off the court.

“It’s an honor to be recognized by Monitor alongside so many inspiring women,” said Farmer. “What I love most about this industry is the opportunity to build lasting partnerships and help businesses achieve their goals. Every success story starts with trust and that’s what motivates me every day.”
