Verdant Commercial Capital has expanded its focus in the office technology space by adding 12 team members to its sales, operations and credit teams and opening its sixth office in Jacksonville, Florida.
Fred Carollo, Vice President, leads a veteran sales team that includes Dan Hink, Tony Luparello, Duncan MacLean, Greg Shannon, and Dan Spatuzzi. These Relationship Managers are joined by six additional newcomers to the Verdant operations and credit teams. All of these team members most recently worked at Macquarie Equipment Capital.
“We had the extraordinary opportunity to bring in a veteran team to strategically augment our existing Technology and Office Automation vertical,” said Mike Rooney, CEO of Verdant Commercial Capital. “These highly qualified and respected industry leaders embody the Verdant mission to be fully vendor focused, and we are pleased to offer their expertise to our customers.”
Fred Carollo has led the sales team for a combined 19 years at Macquarie and EverBank. He will continue leading the tight-knit group at Verdant. The team, which has generated nearly $5 billion in business during its time working together, will work with office technology dealers and manufacturers to help them sell more equipment and services through financing.
“We are excited to be joining the Verdant Commercial Capital team,” Carollo said. “As we grow the Office Technology vertical, we look forward to leveraging our deep long-term relationships with Verdant's “vendor as the customer” service approach. We feel this is a perfect match that the market will recognize and gravitate toward.”
Carollo’s 33 years of Office Technology leasing expertise include sales, sales management, marketing and documentation. The five Relationship Managers he oversees each have deep industry knowledge with at least 25 years of experience.
Verdant’s other six newcomers have extensive Operations and Credit experience and worked with the sales team at Macquarie. Jeff Pelky leads Verdant’s Office Technology Operations Team, which includes Nicole Hall, Vincent Formica and Vahdeta Dilic. Patrice Wassouf leads the Credit Team, which includes Matt Murphy.
With many of these new team members based in Jacksonville, Verdant will be opening a new office located there.
