ELFA Launches New Online Training Courses for the Equipment Finance Industry

Posted 05/15/2024

Washington, D.C.—To meet a growing demand for training in the equipment finance industry, today the Equipment Leasing and Finance Association launched the Onboarding Series, a collection of online training courses specifically targeted toward the knowledge and skills new industry professionals need. The five courses, which are free for ELFA members, are part of the association’s strategic initiative to help develop the next generation of industry talent.

The Onboarding Series includes:

  • Introduction to the Equipment Finance Industry
  • Types of Equipment Finance Companies
  • Benefits of Equipment Finance
  • Lease versus Loan
  • Market Segments

ELFA developed the new courses after conducting an extensive audit of its education and training portfolio to ensure it is meeting member needs. The feedback from members helped the association reimagine its approach to education and training to appeal to a broad range of prospective talent. New learning tools will be added regularly to the online content library.

“Our number one priority is helping our members succeed,” said ELFA President and CEO Leigh Lytle. “And to do that, we need to make sure industry talent gets the right training. That’s why we’re introducing these new courses—with more to come. It's an exciting step in reshaping education for our members, now and for the future."
