Jones Recognized for Effort and Leadership in Influencing Growth and Retention of NPTC's Membership
ORLANDO, Fla. (April 24, 2024) – Fleet Advantage, a leading innovator in specialty financing, fleet data analytics, fleet management services, and life cycle cost management, announced today at the National Private Truck Council’s (NPTC) 2024 Annual Conference and Exhibition that Chief Marketing Officer, Katerina Jones, was honored with the NPTC Excellence in Membership Award. Jones was recognized for her outstanding efforts and leadership in significantly influencing the growth and retention of NPTC’s membership.
The award ceremony, held on April 21, celebrated Jones’s dedication, and support in fostering growth within NPTC’s membership base. Annually, the NPTC Excellence in Membership Award is given to an employee of an NPTC Allied Member company that provides transportation-related products or services to the private fleet industry.
Jones brings over 20 years of client-centric, data-driven, and integrated marketing experience across broad industries and services. Jones’s leadership qualities are evident in various aspects, making her a driving force behind Fleet Advantage’s success and a thought leader in the private fleet industry.
With over eight years of participation in the National Private Truck Council, Jones is a valued member of the Annual Conference Planning Committee. Recognized for her private fleet knowledge and dedication to the industry, she has made innovative contributions to shaping substantive content and enhancing the networking value of workshops and seminars. Jones has been a very active member of NPTC and while she has attended every meeting since 2014, she has embraced a leadership role for the planning council as a committee member since 2015.
Jones leverages her deep understanding of the industry to develop and suggest topics that align with the goals of each conference. She also leverages her vast network to contact and vet potential speakers based on their expertise, relevance, and overall appeal to each conference and event. She also serves as a moderator. Most recently, she served as a moderator at the 2023 meeting for the session she pitched titled “Equipment Spec’ing with Cost and Drivers in Mind.”
She serves as a liaison between Fleet Advantage, CTP associates and the NPTC, and continuously encourages associates and others to achieve their CTP certification.
Jones’s leadership qualities, adaptability, strategic impact, and innovative initiatives have positioned her as a key influencer in the private fleet industry. Her resilience in navigating the changing tides of the workforce is reflected in her accolades, industry recognition, and significant contributions to Fleet Advantage's success, especially in shaping the company’s inclusive culture.
