Michael Hawkins has joined the Summit Funding Group team as a Regional Sales Manager covering the Northeast Region and focusing on vendor business in the Material Handling and Construction spaces.

Hawkins brings over 25 years of experience in the Equipment Finance industry including GE Capital and, most recently, Wells Fargo where he spent time as a Transaction Coordinator, Account Manager and Territory Manager. Mike has extensive experience working with a wide variety of industries, including material handling, construction, technology, marine, and office & imaging.

Mike lives in Connecticut and has two wonderful children, ages 21 and soon to be 17, who are heavily involved in high school and college sports. As a former collegiate athlete, he enjoys working out, watching sports and attending his children’s athletic events.
