Michael Mayfield joins Onset Financial as the Senior Vice President of Remarketing and Strategic Development. Mayfield spent 25 years building a thriving law practice at one of Salt Lake City’s largest and oldest law firms. His practice focused on commercial litigation. Mayfield is highly respected as one of the top lawyers in Utah, earning a reputation as an outstanding advocate for leasing and other finance companies.

Mayfield has been repeatedly recognized at the state and national levels. In 2023, he was selected for inclusion on the list of the Best Lawyers in America® in Banking and Finance Law, and by Mountain States Super Lawyers in Banking Law. Mayfield’s peers have repeatedly voted him as one of Utah’s Legal Elite, as published by Utah Business Magazine. In 2021, the Banking and Finance section of the Utah State Bar recognized Mayfield with its Distinguished Service Award.
