Newport Beach, CA – Michael K. Bivins joins Sertant Captial as Executive Vice President, Sales and Business Development. He will be based out of Sertant’s corporate headquarters in Newport Beach and report to CEO Dan Krajewski.

In his role, Bivins will lead all aspects of both the application only and structured finance divisions of the company. A 27-year industry veteran, Bivins joins Sertant from Balboa Capital where he led sales primarily focused on large ticket business. Accomplishments during his tenure at Balboa Capital include managing its Arizona office as well as expanding the business into the Pacific Northwest by opening its office in Washington state. Prior to Balboa Capital, Bivins held leadership roles at Crossroad Equipment Finance and California First Leasing. Bivins earned his B.S. from California State University, Chico and is an active member of the ELFA.
