Frisco, TX – August 22, 2016 – Wintrust Commercial Finance (WCF), part of Wintrust Financial, announced that Erik Weiting Hsu has joined the Legal Department. Erik will be located in Frisco, Texas.

Erik most recently served as of counsel at Winstead PC in Dallas, Texas. He has extensive experience in the representation of secured lenders, unsecured creditors, lessors, bondholders, trustees and other parties. Prior to joining Winstead PC, Erik served as law clerk for the Honorable Leif Clark in the United States Bankruptcy Court for the Western District of Texas. Erik attended the University of Texas at Austin, where he earned a Bachelor of Science in mathematics and a Bachelor of Arts in economics in 2001, and his Juris Doctor in 2004. He is the author of numerous publications, was named a “Texas Rising Star” by Texas Monthly and was selected to the Lawyers of Color “Hot List.”
