May 6, 2014 (INDIANAPOLIS) —On May 1, 2014, the Indiana Chamber of Commerce unveiled the rankings for 100 companies from throughout the state that made the 2014 Best Places to Work in Indiana list (released in February) in four categories based on the company workforce size. More than 1,200 individuals joined in celebration at the Indiana Convention Center in downtown Indianapolis, Indiana to honor the companies for setting the standard with their workplace practices.
In the Medium Companies’ Category (75-249 U.S. employees,) Evansville, Indiana based United Leasing, Inc. proudly accepted their award during the event as the 12th place winner. “Being honored once again as one of the best places to work in Indiana validates United Leasing, Inc.’s commitment to its employees. And with our significantly improved ranking from the previous year, we are excited to know our employees continue to believe in our company culture and value system,” stated Martha Ahlers, Vice President and COO of United Leasing, Inc.

The Best Places organizations were determined through employer reports and comprehensive employee surveys. The Best Companies Group, which handled the selection process, oversees similar programs in 26 other states.
All companies that participated in the 2014 Best Places to Work program receive an in-depth evaluation identifying strengths and weaknesses according to their employees. In turn, this report can be used in developing or enhancing employee retention and recruitment programs.
