Stonebriar Commercial Finance (“Stonebriar”) today announced that Todd M. Thompson, Harrison P. Smith and Melissa Hightower, have recently joined the company. Mr. Thompson joins SCF as Senior Investment Manager while Mr. Smith assumes the role of Credit Analyst, and Mrs. Hightower joins as Administrative Assistant. Both Thompson and Smith report to Jeff Wilkison, SCF Chief Credit Officer and Melissa reports to Carrie Stovall, SCF Office Manager.
Todd Thompson joins SCF with 8 years of prior experience in the investment banking sector including such firms as Pillar Capital Management, Wachovia Securities and Piper Jaffrey as well 3 years of experience in mergers and acquisitions for a Dallas based aggregate company. He has a MBA in Finance from SMU and a Bachelor of Business degree from TCU.
Harrison Smith comes to SCF following 3 years of working in Mongolia as an analyst for Novaterra and Schulze Global Investments facilitating financing and investment for a wide variety of industries and projects ranging from solar and health insurance to the creation of a sovereign wealth fund. In addition he was involved with the Overseas Private Investment Corporation which provides debt financing to small and medium sized businesses across a broad array of industries. Mr. Smith graduated from Rollins Collage with a degree in International Business and studied Mandarin at Shanghai Jiao Tong University.

Melissa Hightower joins SCF from JPMorgan Chase, where she held administrative roles since 2009. Prior to that, she worked as an Operations Supervisor at Washington Mutual. Melissa graduated from the University of Texas at Arlington with a Bachelor’s Degree in Communication and Public Relations.
