Marcio Pedroso appointed President of Volvo Financial Services, Region the Americas

Marcio Pedroso has been appointed President of Volvo Financial Services (VFS), Region the Americas, as of March 1, 2015. He takes over for Leo Hawkes, who has retired after 13 years with VFS. Pedroso leads VFS operations in Region the Americas, including Canada, United States, Brazil, Mexico, Chile and other Latin American markets, and will report to Scott Rafkin, President of VFS Global.

Pedroso has been with the Volvo Group since 2001 and, during this time, he has held various senior leadership roles with business responsibilities for Brazil, Chile and Mexico.

Since 2010, Pedroso has been a member of the VFS Americas Executive Management Team and the past 4 years has served as President of VFS Latin America. His focus throughout his career has been bringing VFS closer to its customers and to the talented people who make up their dealer network.

As president of Volvo Financial Services, Region the Americas, he will lead financing operations for all Volvo Group business channels in the region, including trucks, buses, construction equipment and marine and industrial engines.
