It is with great sorrow that we mourn the passing of our friend, business associate and colleague, Christopher L. Cook, VP & Gen. Mgr. of the Indirect Finance Business at Hitachi Capital America (HCA).

Christopher passed away early on April 14, 2014, with his wife at his side, after fighting a courageous battle with cancer. He had just celebrated his 48th birthday. His gentle demeanor and smile will be greatly missed along with his excellent business acumen and patience in dealing with complicated financing structures to make them better understood and marketable.

He was a 17-year employee of HCA, having spent his 26-year career in the equipment finance & leasing business. Christopher leaves a wife, Camila and a 3-year old daughter Kirsten.

There will be a wake on Wednesday, April 16 from 4-8:00 pm at the Lesko & Poole Funeral Home, 1209 Post Rd, Fairfield, CT 06824. Funeral arrangements, etc. will be forthcoming.
