Women's Spotlight: Katie Stautberg

Tell us a little bit about yourself and your family.

I was born and raised in Cincinnati, Ohio, and I have proudly called it home ever since. After graduating from Miami University, I stayed close to my roots. My younger brother is currently a sophomore at the University of Cincinnati, and together we are die-hard Bengals fans. Our family has held season tickets for over 30 years!

What different roles have you held throughout your career?

I started my career as a consultant recruiter before transitioning into equipment finance as a sales representative.

What traits have made you successful in the various roles you have held?

I have never hesitated to get involved or to connect with people with whom I work. I truly believe that building strong relationships and expanding your network can open doors and elevate your career in meaningful ways.  I am also passionate about giving back.  I am proud to serve on the ambassador board for the Dragonfly Foundation, where I have had the privilege of meeting some of the most inspiring individuals who have helped shape my journey.

If you could give your younger self a piece of advice, what would it be?

Just breathe!  Everything has a way of working out in time. Progress matters more than perfection, and no one expects you to have it all figured out.

What is one piece of advice that has stuck with you throughout your career?

Make it a great day! Do not just wait for good things to happen, go out and create them.

What motivates you to wake up and go to work?

I am incredibly grateful to work alongside such an amazing team every day. The culture at Great American is truly something special – it is supportive, inspiring, and full of heart. I feel so fortunate to be a part of it.

Do you have any pets?

I have two dogs, a golden retriever named Maci and an Aussiedoodle named Winnie.
