Talent Pipeline Opportunity Fund Grant Recipients for ELFA’s 64th Annual Convention

ELFA is pleased to award seven ELFA Talent Pipeline Opportunity Fund grants to first-time participants to attend the association’s 64th Annual Convention in Marco Island, FL, October 26-28. The grants cover costs for registration, travel, and hotel accommodations. The ELFA Talent Pipeline Opportunity Fund is an initiative focused on cultivating and supporting the next generation of leaders in the equipment finance industry by providing access to ELFA and Equipment Leasing & Finance Foundation programs that contribute to career development and industry engagement.

Congratulations to the following recipients:

Cori Drake, CLFP
Cori Drake, CLFP, Marketing Manager for AP Equipment Financing with responsibilities from leading brand launches to overseeing marketing initiatives across AP’s growing portfolio. She has been actively involved with the CLFP Foundation serving as a brand ambassador, and is a member of ELFA’s Emerging Talent Advisory Council. A native of Sonoma County, California, she graduated from the University of California, Santa Barbara with a sociology degree and art minor.
Jonathan Edwards
Jonathan Edwards, Fraud Prevention Program Manager at Caterpillar Financial with global responsibility for fraud prevention, training, education, and detection capability. During his nine-year tenure with Caterpillar Financial, he has held roles across a range of company functions, and is an active leader in various Employee Resource Groups, including prior leadership roles with Young Professionals, Women’s Initiative Network, and Learn.Move.Inspire. A Tennessee native, he attended The University of Tennessee Knoxville.
Justin Issacs
Justin Issacs, Equipment Finance Associate at CIBC Bank USA where he supports the Equipment Finance Group based in Chicago. He is committed to developing his expertise in the industry and contributing to the continued success of his team and clients. A Baltimore native, he earned his finance degree from Hampton University in 2023.
Austin Law
Austin Law, CLFP, Associate Manager, Portfolio Marketing for Stryker’s Flex Financial with broad experience across business development, credit and syndications, documentation, and funding. He serves on ELFA’s Emerging Leaders Subcommittee and with the CLFP Engagement Committee. A native of Goodyear, Arizona, he has a political science degree from Eastern Washington University.
Erica Padilla
Erica Padilla, Assistant Sales Manager at LEAF Commercial Capital with over a decade of expertise in equipment finance. Over the past nine years at LEAF, she has advanced from an entry-level role to leading a dynamic sales team, combining strategic insight with a passion for empowering clients and mentoring future leaders, while consistently achieving exceptional results. A native of Long Beach, California, she has a bachelor's degree in political science and government from Whittier College.
Juan Jose Patino
Juan Jose Patiño, Sales Development Representative at Kin Analytics with over five years of experience in the entrepreneurial ecosystem. He applies an analytical approach to problem-solving, and excels in managing interpersonal relationships, which has been key in his direct interactions with clients. A native of Quito, Ecuador, he has a bachelor's degree in finance from the Universidad San Francisco de Quito.
Warren Scott
Warren Scott, Partner Success Manager at PEAC Solutions, specializing in the healthcare & fitness vertical. He began his career in equipment financing in 2015, working primarily in financial planning & analysis before transitioning to a customer facing sales role. He joined PEAC Solutions in 2023, and plans to sit for his CLFP in November 2025. Born and raised in the suburbs of Philadelphia, Warren graduated from West Chester University in 2011 with a degree in accounting.
