ELFA’s Capitol Connections & Best Practices Roundtables: Bringing Industry Insights to Capitol Hill

March 12, 2026

2026 is underway, and the Equipment Leasing & Finance Association (ELFA) continues to advance its advocacy agenda in Washington, DC. As the industry’s leading trade association, we remain focused on the policy priorities that unite and strengthen our community.

With Capitol Connections & Best Practices Roundtables just two months away, it is essential that we come together to discuss the issues shaping our industry and communicate our shared priorities with a unified voice to lawmakers and their staff.

This year’s event is especially significant, as we are fully integrating what were previously two separate experiences. This enhanced format creates greater opportunities for all sectors of the industry to collaborate, address emerging challenges, and engage in advocacy in action. ELFA members will come together to share insights, strengthen relationships, and ensure the collective voice of the equipment finance industry is heard on Capitol Hill.

The 2026 ELFA Capitol Connections & Best Practices Roundtables will take place in-person May 18-19.

Get Involved: Elevating Your Experience

What truly makes this event special is the opportunity for meaningful, individual engagement. Participants have numerous ways to get involved, whether it’s exercising their First Amendment right to petition the government, collaborating with ELFA’s Business Council Steering Committees (BCSC) to address pressing industry issues, participating in ELFA’s grassroots initiatives, or engaging more broadly in the political process.

Through these opportunities, ELFA members play an active role in strengthening the industry’s collective voice. By sharing their expertise, perspectives, and real-world experiences, members help ensure that policymakers better understand the vital role equipment leasing and finance plays in supporting businesses and economic growth across the country. Simply put, our advocacy efforts are most effective when members are directly involved, bringing their insights to the conversation and helping shape policy decisions that have a direct impact on our industry.
