Paul Bent Wins ELFA Legal Award 
ELFA has awarded Paul Bent, Senior Managing Director at The Alta Group, the Edward A. Groobert Award for Legal Excellence. ELFA Legal Committee Chair Molly Simon, Senior Legal Counsel at DLL, presented the award to Bent on May 6 at the ELFA Legal Forum in Scottsdale, Arizona, in recognition of his significant contributions to the association and the equipment finance industry. Congrats, Grads!
11 member employees completed ELFA's two-day, instructor-led “Principles of Equipment Leasing and Finance” curriculum in March, which culminated in their completing an exam and being awarded certificates of achievement signifying their exposure to and understanding of the basics of equipment leasing and finance. The next Principles Workshops will take place on June 26-28 and Nov. 6-8 at ELFA Headquarters in Washington, D.C. ELFA members also have the option to host a Principles Workshop at their own facilities. Learn more

What are the hottest equipment markets of 2024? The 34th annual “What’s Hot/What’s Not: Equipment Market Forecast 2024” from ELFA reveals industry perceptions of 15 equipment markets based on a survey of association members. The survey results point to construction, machine tools, medical, technology and marine/intercoastal as the leading sectors for the year ahead, according to portfolio preference. Learn more

Strategy Meeting
In April the ELFA Senior Team met for a two-day planning session to discuss strategic priorities for the next 18 months and beyond. The conversations will continue at the May ELFA Board meeting, with a focus on member enrichment and driving the industry forward.
