"Section 9.051 of the Texas Business Organizations Code was last updated in 2006, and it still includes the cited language.
Likewise, Section 9.251 also remaind unchanged since 2006. Clauses 8 and 9 read:
For purposes of this chapter, activities that do not constitute transaction of business in this state include:
...
(8) securing or collecting a debt due the entity or enforcing a right in property that secures a debt due the entity;
(9) transacting business in interstate commerce
