"f the law chosen by the parties to a consumer lease is that of a jurisdiction other than a jurisdiction in which the lessee resides at the time the lease agreement becomes enforceable or within thirty days thereafter or in which the goods are to be used, the choice is not enforceable. (§ 36-2A-106)

An agreement or provision of an agreement by a consumer who is a resident of this State at the time of a consumer credit transaction is invalid with respect to the transaction that the law of another jurisdiction apply. (§ 37-1-201)"
