Non-Depository Mortgage Bankers, Brokers, and Servicers
Prior to engaging in the business of a mortgage broker, mortgage banker, mortgage originator, or mortgage servicer, a person must obtain and maintain a license under this chapter. Each mortgage banker, broker, originator or servicer must register with and obtain and maintain a valid unique identifier issued by the Nationwide Multistate Licensing System and Registry. An individual engaging in the business of a loan processor or underwriter as an independent contractor must also obtain a license and identifier. A person licensed as mortgage banker may act as a mortgage broker or mortgage servicer without obtaining a separate license. N.H. Re v. Stat. Ann. § 397-A:3

Small Loans, Title Loans and PayDay Loans
No person shall engage in the business of a small loan lender in this state or with consumers located in this state without first obtaining a license from the commissioner. N.H. Rev. State. Ann. § 399-A:2.
