"Parties to a contract in Minnesota may control the choice of law by express contractual provision. OT Indus v. Ot-tehdas Oy Santasalo-Sohlborg Ab, 346 N.W.2d 162 (Minn.App. 1984); See Medtronic Inc. v. Gibbons, 684 F.2d 565 (8th Cir. 1982); Hauenstein & Bermeister Inc. v. Met-Fab Indus., 320 N.W.2d 886 (Minn. 1982).

Parties may agree that the law of another state will govern their agreement, and the court will interpret and apply the law of the other state when such an agreement is made. Milliken & Co. v. Eagle Packaging Co., 295 N.W.2d 377 (Minn. 1980)."
