"Maryland has adopted the Uniform Arbitration Act. Establishes that an agreement providing for arbitration under the law of the State confers jurisdiction on a court to enforce the agreement. Md. Code, Cts. and Jud. Proc. §3-202
With limited exceptions, a written agreement to arbitration or a provision in a written contract to submit to arbitration is valid and enforceable. Md. Code, Cts. and Jud. Proc. §3-205 "
Cases
Arbitration clauses are enforceable if mutually agreed upon. *Wells v. Chevy Chase*, *FSB*, 363 Md. 232, 768 A.2d 620 (2001), *Holmes v. Coverall N. Am.*, 336 Md. 534, 649 A2d 365 (1994).
