Statutes

"For purposes of how an individual debtor must be named on a financing statement, Idaho is an Alternative A state under the Amended Article 9 effective July 1, 2013, which is the “only if” alternative, providing a single exclusive method for determining an individual debtor’s name.

If Alternative A has been adopted by the state of filing and if an individual debtor holds an unexpired driver’s license issued by that state, the name on the individual’s most recently issued unexpired driver’s license must appear on the financing statement. If an individual debtor does not have an unexpired driver’s license issued by the Alternative A state of filing, then either of the following names are sufficient: (a) the individual name of the debtor, as under current Article 9 (birth certificate) or (b) the debtor’s surname and first personal name, in that order."" See Title 28, Chapter 9."
