Statutes

Every homestead is exempt from execution and attachment arising from any debt, contract, or civil obligation that do not exceed the actual cash value in excess of any liens or encumberances on the property at the time of the levy of execution for $250,000 if the homestead is occupied as a home by the owner or their family; or $350,000 if occupied by an owner or certain family members that are elderly or disabled. (C.R.S. 38-41-201)
