Any person acting as a collection agency must possess a valid license issued by the administrator in accordance with Article 16. (C.R.S. 5-16-118)

Requisites for licensure and application requirements are contained within C.R.S. 5-16-119; grounds for license denial and process for appeal are contained within C.R.S. 6-16-120; and renewals are contained within C.R.S. 6-16-121.
