In 2015 ELFA was invited by the International Institute for the Unification of Private Law (UNIDROIT) to join the Mining, Agricultural, and Construction Equipment Work Group (the MAC Working Group). The purpose of this group is to work on the Fourth Protocol to the Cape Town Convention on International Interest in mobile equipment relating to mining, agriculture and construction equipment (the MAC Protocol). Over the course of the last three years; members of ELFA’s International Law Subcommittee have actively participated in the drafting and adoption process of the MAC Protocol.
- ELFA submits comment letter on sustainability proposal 2022
On July 18, ELFA submitted a comment letter to the International Sustainability Standards Board, which is working to develop a comprehensive global baseline of sustainability disclosures for the capital markets. ELFA's letter offers feedback on two proposals: IFRS S1 General Requirements for Disclosure of Sustainability-related Financial Information and IFRS 2 Climate-related Disclosures. - ELFA signed on to MAC Protocol Letter to Secretary Pompeo July 2020 (7/28/2020)
