Roundtables Stimulate Discussion

Exchanging best practices was the name of the game at a series of roundtables held April 12 in Chicago. The interactive, half-day programs drew equipment finance executives together for information sharing and critical thinking about issues they face as leaders of their organizations.  After 24 months of zoom meetings, webinars and online conferences, attendees enjoyed the opportunity to learn and network in-person. The Bank Roundtable focused on two topics: challenges and issues from LIBOR cessation and attracting and retaining diverse talent in today’s labor environment.


The Captive and Vendor Finance Roundtable focused on managed services.


The Independent Roundtable discussed leadership and engaging emerging talent. Attendees also viewed an ELFA Knowledge Hub demo on mining the SEFA data for independents.


The Small Ticket Roundtable focused on two hot topics: enhanced finance disclosure laws in the states and strategic data usage.

At the opening luncheon, ELFA Chair Mike DiCecco (pictured) discussed the Top 10 Equipment Acquisition Trends for 2022. Also at the luncheon, Barry Ripes of Equifax presented the U.S. Economic Outlook.
