A total of 277 attorneys participated in the ELFA Legal Forum, held May 7-9 in Fort Myers, Florida. New this year, attendees had the option to participate in-person or virtually, with about 80% choosing the former and 20% the latter. Sessions focused on a wide range of hot topics, from UCC to clean energy to bankruptcy. Moorari Shah, Partner at Sheppard Mullin Richter & Hampton LLC, and Ken Weinberg, Partner at Rimon, P.C., received the Edward A. Groobert Award for Legal Excellence.
“The amount of change facing our industry continues to compound with respect to regulation and complexity of transactions,” said R. Scott Adams, Chair of the ELFA Legal Committee, which helps to plan and host the event. “The Legal Forum helps attendees address those challenges together.”
