Griffin Recognized for His Long-standing Commitment and Leadership in the Technology Field
FORT LAUDERDALE, FL (October 7, 2019) – Fleet Advantage, a leading innovator in truck fleet business analytics, equipment financing, and lifecycle cost management announced its COO & CTO, James Griffin, has been named the 2019 CIO Lifetime Achievement Award recipient by the South Florida Business Journal.
The South Florida Business Journal’s CIO Lifetime Achievement Award is a part of its annual Technology Awards. The Technology Awards honor the chief information officers and chief technology officers who lead their organizations in delivering business value and innovative use of IT. The recipient must be a technology veteran with more than ten years of experience in the industry, with unique vision and accomplishments that have propelled their company to lead the way in technology.
James Griffin was awarded for his extraordinary leadership qualities as head of the Fleet Advantage IT team. He has over 24 years of experience in technology development and strategic planning for major technological and informational organizations. Griffin’s career initially began in software, where he grew his own company from inception to over 65 employees in just eight years. Prior to joining Fleet Advantage, Griffin led a global user migration of over 22,000 users from a legacy domain into a new domain that upgraded their user-base technology platforms.
Griffin has had a direct hand in the design, development and launch of ATLAAS (Advanced Truck Lifecycle Administrative Analytics Software) Unified, an enhanced and updated version of the company’s proprietary data analytics software. Griffin engineered the modifications that went into ATLAAS Unified by implementing a new state-of-the-art user interface that provides customers insights that can save millions to their bottom line.
