GARDEN CITY, NY; September 12, 2018 —Steven P. Seltzer, Deputy General Counsel to Moritt Hock & Hamroff LLP, was recently appointed to the Board of Overseers (Eastern Region) of Hebrew Union College-Jewish Institute of Religion (HUC-JIR).

HUC-JIR is the seminary that prepares students to become rabbis, cantors and professional educators in Judaism’s Reform Movement. The Board of Overseers is a voluntary group providing guidance and feedback regarding programming, student life and many other aspects of the New York City campus.

In addition to his role as Deputy General Counsel, Mr. Seltzer handles a variety of commercial disputes such as those involving insurance products, vendor and distribution contracts, post-transaction M&A issues, licensing and real estate matters.  Mr. Seltzer earned his Juris Doctorate from New York University School of Law.
