GARDEN CITY, NY; August 13, 2018 —Rachel A. Fernbach, an associate of Moritt Hock & Hamroff LLP and Deputy Director and Assistant General Counsel for the New York State Psychiatric Association, the medical specialty association of psychiatrists practicing in New York State, was recently appointed by Mental Health News Education (MHNE) to serve as Vice Chair of its Board of Directors for the 2018 – 2019 fiscal year.
MHNE is a nonprofit organization that publishes the publications Behavioral Health News and Autism Spectrum News. Behavioral Health News provides information about the latest advances, services, and vital programs within the mental health care industry. Autism Spectrum News serves as an educational resource guide for families with children on the spectrum as well as for the treatment professionals and service providers that care for them.
Rachel A. Fernbach concentrates her practice in the area of not-for-profit law, representing health care providers, behavioral health providers and agencies that provide services for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities. Ms. Fernbach received her Juris Doctor from George Washington University School of Law.
