Tim Logan Joins Whitney Equipment Finance Team in New Orleans

New portfolio manager will partner with clients to design custom equipment financing plans

NEW ORLEANS (March 13, 2017) — With more than 25 years of portfolio management experience in the Nashville, Tennessee, area, Tim Logan has joined Whitney Bank in New Orleans to lead the portfolio management function for the Whitney Equipment Finance Team.

Based at the downtown Whitney Bank location on St. Charles Avenue, Logan will support Whitney Equipment Finance’s capital markets and municipal equipment finance initiatives. He will also direct teams committed to helping clients design specific financing plans that consider their seasonal needs, business cycles, and other factors when leasing or purchasing a wide variety of equipment.

Prior to joining Whitney Bank, Logan was a global portfolio manager with Caterpillar Financial. He was also a professor of corporate finance for 11 years at Vanderbilt University and served on the board of Monroe Harding Presbyterian Orphanage in Nashville.

Logan earned a bachelor’s degree in chemistry and biology from McMurry University in Abilene, Texas, and earned an MBA from Southern Methodist University in Dallas.
