This web seminar will be focused on funding for lessors in the coming decade and will help set the stage for the ELFA Funding Conference, April 13-15. This Web Seminar will provide a fresh approach for the challenges faced today and anticipated in this decade.
  • Explanation and use of the ELFA Funding Guide for lessors seeking funding in the new normal for the US credit markets and what it takes to play effectively.
  • A historical look at the evolution of the non-bank funding model in Canada along with the efficient generation of data for tranche selection and the ongoing reporting requirements developed to make the evolution happen.
  • Explanation of one alternative funding model - the small/community bank -  employed effectively in the US today and its role as a vibrant new source of funding.
  • Canada: Can we learn something about significant alternative funding sources from our brethren to the north? You will be presented with the life insurance company lease funding model utilized heavily in Canada today, along with the history of the rise of this new funding source.
