How can YOU impact the future of the industry?
ELFA member participation in the political process is critical so that policymakers will hear the united voice for our industry and understand how current policy issues will affect the equipment finance sector.
Program Highlights
Capitol Hill Meeting Assignments
ELFA will be scheduling legislative meetings with our target list of elected officials in the House and Senate. Registered attendees will be assigned meetings based on geography to the extent possible. Due to the nature of scheduling with congressional offices, attendees will receive confirmed meeting assignments onsite at the meeting registration.
Federal Agency Meeting Assignments
We are assembling a full program of Executive and Legislative Branch meetings to ensure maximum exposure of our industry to key policy makers while efficiently utilizing your time. Please review the list of possible executive branch agencies on the registration form to determine any that may be of particular interest. While we cannot guarantee everyone's first choice, your input is crucial to our planning efforts. Discussion agendas for agency meetings will be prepared by ELFA staff and distributed to registered attendees for specific agency meetings.
Issue Briefings
Please visit the ELFA Online Advocacy Info Center at http://advocacy.elfaonline.org/ for policy issue briefings and talking points. As the date for the conference approaches, ELFA will focus messaging on specific topics. The issue briefs for specific topics to be discussed during legislative and regulatory meetings will be updated closer to the conference date to ensure a timely message. Registered attendees will be given prior notice of policy updates and provided with printed materials when they pick up their registration materials on-site.
